Melinda Scruggs Gales

Melinda Scruggs Gales brings two decades of experience to her role as Chief Strategist of The Gales Network, a firm that provides brand strategy and marketing services to a wide variety of clients in and outside of the entertainment industry.

“Success requires a brand understand who their customer is, recognize why the customer connects with them on an emotional level, and dedicate themselves to consistently maintaining customer relationships. The new digital landscape has changed how we achieve all of these elements. TGN collaborates with brands to define their message, create effective tools, demonstrate consistency in every touch point and successfully navigate both the digital and real world landscape to reach the evolving customer.”

TGN key clients have included Warner Music Group, Rocketown Records, The Mansfield Group, Parker Custom Builders, Leadership Music Digital Summit and Myers Point. Scruggs Gales joined The Gales Network in April of 2007 following four years with O’Neil Hagaman, a Nashville-based business management firm where she worked with leading country music clients focusing on exploitation of intellectual property rights both on and off the web.

Scruggs Gales’ resume includes her role as a founding executive for Warner Christian Distribution, a division of Time Warner’s WEA Corp., and as senior management with Blanton/Harrell Management and Reunion Records where she worked with mainstream Christian artists. Melinda served over a decade as a board member for the Gospel Music Association (including several years as an officer) and she is a current voting member of NARAS, a member of SOURCE and a Leadership Music alumna.

Today, Scruggs Gales specializes in integrating real world brand strategy within the expanding digital arena and keeps connected peers, clients, friends and strangers on top of current issues through The Big Ideas Report (www.bigideasreport.com).
